Why use E.A. Quinn Landscaping to do your fertilizing?
After years of watching other companies skimp on product, apply it in the rain, and consistently burn lawns out, we decided to get in the game and set the precedence for lawn fertilization. E.A. Quinn was one of the first lawn care companies in the Northeast to begin using cutting edge Poly-On fertilizer.
The Poly-On Advantage:
Poly-on is released strictly by soil temperature.
Poly-on’s reactive coating allows for fewer applications. The nutrients release through diffusion, and is not affected by rainfall or irrigation.
Poly-on is strictly slow release, which reduces growth surging of lawn and allows for steady green color.
Poly-on is one of the most environmentally friendly products on the market. Since it is not released by rain-water, its release is nearly 100% controlled to prevent nitrate run-off into storm drains and waterways.
Poly-on’s polymer coating microbially decomposes into naturally occurring soil elements.
E.A. Quinn Landscaping’s Fertilization Program:
Step #1: Spring application of Poly-on golf grade fertilizer with pre-emergent crabgrass control.
Step#2: Early summer foliar liquid spray to treat for surface control insects such as chinchbugs, billbugs, and sod webworms. Application also controls sub-surface insects such as grubs/armey worms. This application also treats for all broadleaf weeds such as dandelions that may be sprouting, and also includes a follow-up crabgrass preventative treatment to ensure a crabgrass free lawn.
Step#3: Late summer application of Poly-on golf grade fertilizer with a spot treatment for any weeds or crabgrass that may have sprouted.
Step#4: Fall application of Poly-on golf grade fertilizer.
