WHAT TO EXPECT IN A LANDSCAPE DESIGN CONSULTATION?

When you call E.A. Quinn Landscape Contracting for a landscape design consultation we will first gather some basic information and try to determine the best representative to meet with you. We’ll want to know what type of project you want to have done. Is it a patio ? A walkway? A retaining wall? All of the above?

 

 

After the initial phone call we will send an email with some thought provoking questions to help you begin to think more in-depth about what you are looking for like you looking for an outdoor living landscape design , spending more time outdoors. The answers to these questions help us design your perfect landscape.

 

A design consultation usually takes about an hour.

At the consultation, we will:

  • walk through the property with you discussing your needs and vision.
  • offer suggestions of what will work best for you.
  • discuss material and plant options as well as budget requirements.
  • take measurements and photos of the area.
  • check grades and soil conditions.

Depending on the size of the area to be worked on, there may be a charge for the design. The consultant will be able to let you know what that would be at the time of the initial meeting.

After the consultation, the designer will create a drawing for you and present it to you with a detailed estimate to do the work. Once a design is agreed upon, we schedule time for the work to be done and before you know it, you’re enjoying your new landscaping!
