Notes From The Editor

It has been a very interesting winter, strange storms, record warm and record cold; such is life in New England.  My apologies for not getting the January newsletter sent out it is posted on our website if you would like to see it.  This weekend is the Flower Show at the Convention Center in Hartford, stop by, breathe in the smell of spring, and say hello.

We have been working this winter on some changes.  First on our list of change is encouraging our customers to convert their accounts to be paid via a charge/debit card.  Over the years, we have functioned as a collection agency….giving customers an open line of credit for the services we provide, send bills and wait to be paid.  While 99% of our clients are excellent at keeping their accounts up to date, we are finding it necessary to make a change in-order to keep pace with our ever-changing economy.  The way this will work -  Your information is recorded in our secured, firewall-protected server.  When a scheduled service is completed we will then process a charge for that invoice only and mail a receipt confirming payment.  No matter what you buy or where you shop, today you have to pay as you go!  Whether its gas, food, appliance repair or internet shopping, payment is required at time of purchase.  We will be sending out forms for you to fill in your account information if you want to take advantage of whatever reward system attached to your card.

You may also call in and speak with Joan or me if you would prefer not to send that information in the mail.

From our Staff
Fertilize

From early spring until fall, our fertilization program covers the entire gamut – improving your soil to support healthier grass, elimination of grubs, chinch bugs, dandelions & crabgrass!  Call Matt @ 633-0115 ext. 23 – A.S.A.P.  Therefore, you can get the full benefit starting in the spring.

 Patios, walls, walks and driveways

The array of pavers, colors and textures are amazing. Have an existing wall that could use a face-lift or a walk that is going nowhere let us look at it.  Tired of the gravel from your driveway always ending up in the lawn and house, we can show you some of the virtually maintenance free paver driveways we have installed.  Call for a free estimate – we are starting to set up our installation schedules.

Landscape/Maintenance

Curb appeal, shade, design and colors – we do it all, small or large. Let us help you have more time in you day or weekend, so you are not always taking care of the yard. Mulch your existing gardens for an update clean look. Over seed or hydroseeding, those bare spots can make for a lush lawn.  Call Karen for an appointment to walk around your yard for new ideas.

Lighting/Waterfalls, ponds or accent water features

Lighting lends itself to security, curb appeal and serenity.  From the street, you can accent your landscape or an architectural feature, eliminate dark spots for security or make your yard with soft indirect lighting and a water feature with the soothing sounds of running water a place to relax and recharge.  Give us a call because we can do it all.
