See you in the funny papers
A little girl had just finished her first week of school. "I'm wasting my time," she said to her mother.
"I can't read, I can't write - and they won't let me talk!"

A Few Notes From Our Staff
|
| The end of August through mid-September is the time to plant seed or lay sod. Cool nights and warmish days combine to have your lawn growing like crazy.
Aeration - this will help with root zone growth, relieve compaction and allows oxygen into the soil. It is time to fertilize that lawn. It needs a little boost to help those roots get off to a good start before winter.
The leaves are already falling all around us, fall cleanups will start before you know it, if you are not on the list and want to be – call.
Now is an excellent time to plant something that will give you years and years of benefit. Call Ed to come out and give you the benefit of his vast experience.
Whether it is to make a real difference or simply sprucing up or cleaning up the experts here at E.A. Quinn will make your space something to be proud of. Give us a call. |
First Impressions
|
| Yes, I am speaking of curb appeal, the front entry can be a unique site for hardscape, plants, light fixtures, or a water feature inviting your guests to relax and enjoy
Balance and unity are especially important to front entry landscaping because of the need for a clean and attractive appearance. Hardscape for sidewalks should be of a different material to distinguish it from the asphalt driveway.
Focal points for visual interest is key, one seen from the street, and then make a focal point for the view as you walk up the sidewalk to the front door. Call Ed or Karen to discuss ways to spruce up your first impression of your home. |
Bulbs – A Spring Surprise
|
Now is the time to order those bulbs you need to plant in October. There are Tulips, Narcissus, Crocus, Anemone and so many more in so many colors. Want to put in hundreds, call us we can get it done.
Most animals, especially deer, do not like the taste of Narcissus or Daffodils and will not eat the bulb or flower. Early blooming tulips are suitable to plant around shady trees because they will bloom well before tree leaves start to bud. |
| In Conclusion
We are always trying to help you think of your yard as a growing, living space. This space can change as your needs change
Whatever changes you may want to implement, I know that E.A. Quinn Landscape will be the best choice to help you achieve your dream yard. Give us a call and see how we can enhance your outdoor living space. |
