E.A. Quinn to help build wounded veteran a home
E.A. Quinn Landscape Contracting will take a role in the upcoming house build for a wounded soldier. Purple Heart Homes an organization that helps build homes for wounded veterans has chosen to build a home for Manny Jiminez right here in Glastonbury on Addison Rd. at the site of the burned down V.F.W. hall. Manny a U.S. Marine, was on patrol in Afghanistan when a bomb detonated near him taking his left arm, hearing in his left ear, and partially blinding him.
Ed Quinn the owner of E.A. Quinn Landscape Contracting Inc. is the co-chair of the building committee through the Glastonbury Rotary Club which he actively participates in. Ed will be helping to coordinate tradespeople/volunteers to construct the home which is set to break ground mid-march. E.A. Quinn Landscape will have their hand in installing the walkways and patios as well as the lawn for the new home, in cooperation with local garden clubs and volunteers. Please stay tuned for more updates as we progress.
